Kendra Richards

Political Science and Public Policy and Management

Hello! My name is Kendra, and I am a Senior majoring in Political Science and Public Management and Policy. On campus, I am involved with Greek Life and the Honorary
system, and the Honors College. I am on my sorority’s Executive Board, and I serve as the Executive Vice President of the College of SBS Ambassadors. In my free time, I sing in an acapella group on campus!

As an Internship Coach, I hope to help students build their confidence and readiness as they enter their career journey. One of my favorite aspects of this position is helping students tailor their application materials to their desired career field. After graduation, I plan to attend law school and pursue a career in government legislation or policy making!

Sarah Randolph

Psychological Science

Hi! My name is Sarah and I’m a senior majoring in Psychological Science. I am a first generation college student from California and I moved to Arizona for school. I love to volunteer on-campus to support the student population and learn more about different student identities. My next step after graduation is to attend Graduate school to get a degree in Higher Education to continue supporting students in an academic setting.

In this role, I enjoy supporting students in their internship journey and helping them find an opportunity they will enjoy!

Jersey Orias

MPH in Environmental and Occupational Health with an emphasis in Industrial Hygiene

Hello! My name is Jersey Orias. I’m pursuing my MPH in Environmental and Occupational Health with an emphasis in Industrial Hygiene. This is a pretty cool field, so if you have any questions about it, let me know! On top of being a Graduate Assistant for SECD, I work for the Research Laboratory & Safety Services here on campus. Lately, I’ve been taking up traveling during my free time.

As a career educator, I love to help students reach their goals by being an example and providing systematic ways to achieve those goals. I meet students where they are at, whether that may be in gaining confidence, editing their application materials, and more.

Selena Dey-Foy

Psychology and Law

Hello! My name is Selena and I am a sophomore majoring in psychology and law. I plan to become a
practicing criminal justice attorney or forensic psychologist. I’m originally from Washington D.C. and
can be spotted at my extracurricular Mock Trial Club.

As a Peer Coach, I aim to help students take control of their budding careers and present their best
professional selves. I hope to spread awareness about how fruitful having an internship can be and
become a prominent connection for professional campus resources! One of my favorite parts of my job is meeting all the different types of students that attend our school and helping students pick the best
internship available.

Ethan Holman

Political Science & MA in Public Administration

Hi, my name is Ethan. I am a Senior pursuing a BA in Political Science and a Master’s of Public Administration. I decided these programs are for me because I am driven by wanting to help the people in my community. That is why I want to pursue a career in local government here in Tucson and it is also why I became a Peer Internship Coach.

From reviewing resumes and cover letters to connecting students with internship opportunities, I enjoy helping students learn new skills and foster success in their post-education careers!
