Tangible & Tactical Design, Planning, Building, and Bettering

What is the Engineering & Infrastructure career cluster?

Disciplines within Engineering & Infrastructure utilize science and technology in the design, building, and use of engines, machines, and structures. Successful professionals in this cluster are able to analyze problems in various virtual and physical environments in order to solve and innovate around them.

Engineering is an essential expertise in numerous fields across public and private sectors, including the aerospace, automotive, aviation, construction, electronics, manufacturing, systems, and transportation industries.

The term “infrastructure” encompasses architecture, urban planning, transportation, construction, and renovation. These fields blend the design and execution of structures through art, science, and technology, focusing on how we navigate and experience the space around us in safe, healthy, and even enjoyable ways, from buildings to bridges, streets, railroads, and so much more.
