Wildcat Career Guide

The official career guide of the University of Arizona.

This document is meant to be used over the course of your time at the University of Arizona – not to be consumed all at once. As you progress through each section, you will learn common career vocabulary and practices, read samples of job application documents, gather tips and tricks for building foundational skills, and complete action items designed to help you succeed in your career journey.

Follow the Big 7 steps in the Wildcat Career Guide and you’ll have a strong online profile, skill-building experiences, a strong resume, a polished self-introduction and confidence in your interviewing skills and search strategy.

Pair this guide with My Wildcat Career Journey in CatCloud for a semester-by-semester checklist to prepare for what’s next after graduation.
