Summer Internship Stipend

The Summer Impact Award is a transformative summer internship stipend that affords students the opportunity to develop career confidence and pursue their passion.

Ten of these awards are made possible through a sustaining gift from the Lois A. Meerdink Student Engagement & Career Development Internship Support Endowment.

Additional awards provided thanks to the support of the University of Arizona Student Services Fee, the Strategic Initiatives Fund and Arizona’s Technology Research Initiative Fund investments in workforce development.

Students can focus wholeheartedly on their internship experience when they don’t worry about the costs of transportation, housing, or equipment.

Internships expose students to industries and organizations while developing their skills.

Students apply for summer positions starting in the Fall. Awards are distributed each May.
