We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Undergraduate Research Assistant to join our dynamic team at MET Lab, part of Biological Engineering. This position offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to gain hands-on experience in bioelectrochemical systems. The selected candidate will play a vital role in supporting our ongoing research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of research data.
- Conduct literature reviews to support research efforts and enhance understanding of the field.
- Participate in the setup, execution, and maintenance of experiments.
- Ensure compliance with lab safety protocols and standards.
- Participate in lab meetings and present findings and progress reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Biological Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- Previous laboratory experience is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent organizational and data management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using standard software for data analysis and documentation (e.g., Microsoft Office, statistical software).
