Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) is looking for a student worker for our Student Motor Pool position. As a Student Motor Pool Assistant, you will assist with the administrative duties in the Fleet Focus system, data entry, assist with parts pick up and drop off, and other duties as needed for vehicles and golf carts.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be licensed to drive for a minimum of 3 years (Time with a driver’s/learner’s permit doesn’t count toward the license requirement).
- Must be 19 years or older.
- Clean driving record (3 or fewer points).
- Willing to work outside in adverse weather conditions.
- Federal Work Study for the entire academic year
Job Duties:
- Ability to perform some data cleanup in our Fleet Focus system
- Ability to cover the dispatch desk (answer phones, emails, make reservations and dispatch customers)
- Data entry requirements (input Voyager fuel card transactions into the Fleet Focus system, work order billing input into Excel spreadsheets)
- Update and edit State of AZ Mexican insurance packets for customers travelling into Mexico
- Scanning, filing as well
- Ability to input work orders into the Fleet Focus system
- Ability to perform monthly inventory counts/reconciliation
- Ability to perform monthly vehicle Safety inspection tracking and notifications to departments (Excel)
- Ability to input Safety recalls into Fleet Focus and notify departments of recalls
- Ability to drive a University vehicle (for picking up parts, emission testing, pick up and drop off at outside vendors)

- Be an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Meet and maintain Eligibility For Financial Aid
- Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Demonstrate financial need
- Complete the verification process
Due to limited funding, not all students who are eligible will receive this offer. It is the student’s responsibility to find a FWS job. Unlike other financial aid offers, students receive their FWS award as a paycheck from their employer. This means FWS funds cannot be used to pay upfront costs such as tuition, fees, dorm charges or books.
