Welcome to a new video this one is going to be focused on international students and how you can search for opportunities in handshake jobs that offer opt or other types of sponsorship let me show you the first thing you’re going to do is go to Arizona dot join handshake dot com forward slash login you’re going to log in with your net id if you forget this login screen or the link you can also go to our website and you can find the handshake link in different places here we would have a button or under jobs and internships you can find handshake and you can also click on login now that’s going to take you to the same place so you’re going to log in and you’re going to log in with your netid you’re going to also enter your personal password of course you’re going to log in and then you’re going to be arriving at the main handshake page this is the dashboard or home and from here as you know you have access to jobs events and employers but in this case this is a video for international students and how to find opportunities that offer opt or other types of sponsorship so the way you do that you go to jobs you’re going to click there and then you’re going to select full-time jobs for example and then you can go to all filters so in this case we’re going to be focusing on full-time jobs you click right there jobs and you’re going to be scrolling down if you want to narrow down by job role you could enter marketing or business or engineering or something like that there’s also a section here for
industries maybe if you’re looking for a specific employer you can also enter that here you can search but in this case i want to show you that you can select
will sponsor or doesn’t require you as work visa and accepts opt or cpt let’s deselect the other one so full-time jobs that offer or accept opt or cpt you can see here there’s many many opportunities in handshake so after you click show results you’re gonna see a big listing and you’re gonna have different different opportunities and you can
narrow it down of course if you’re looking for something in engineering or business we can try that so you can go back to all filters whatever you selected before is already selected and then over here you’re going to see for example let’s say software developers and engineers for example you can see 236 jobs found show results
and you’re going to be able to see the different opportunities for example salesforce java senior full stack engineer so depending on the selections you’re going to see the different opportunities and then you’re going to be able to confirm of course whatever the employer selected that they accept in this case opt cpt is already there because that’s what you search for and then you’re gonna see different options you’re gonna see buttons for applying externally so that would link you to the company’s application portal or sometimes they do allow students to apply inside handshake so it’ll be it’ll depend on the position and there you go that’s how you can search for opportunities in handshake or international students who are looking for opportunities that can sponsor or doesn’t require a us work visa or that can accept opt or cpt
