Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU)

Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) are opportunities provided by the National Science Foundation (NSF) for undergraduate students to get involved in research over the summer or during the regular academic year.

Students can apply for research positions at a host university, even if they are not currently enrolled at that university! This gives undergraduate students the opportunity to conduct research at another university, in or out of their state.

Students are often granted stipends to cover expenses and/or housing and travel grants that supports the students in their experience.
