Career Core by Kaplan: Short Term Career Milestones (Topic 8)

Recommended for students who want to revisit their career interests and set milestones to bring them closer to their goals.

While it’s important to have the skills necessary to be successful in a particular career, it’s equally necessary to have an interest in your career. After all, it’s hard to be truly good at a job that you don’t enjoy! In this topic, you’ll do additional exploration on careers that match your interests, as well as start to chart out different milestones to mark achievements specific to your long-term goals.

If you have not logged on to Kaplan Career Core yet, your first log in (using your university netid and password) will take you to the home page to set up your account. Then select “Kaplan Career Core” from the dashboard, select “Curriculum Outline,” and scroll down to Connect with Your Future Work/Topic 8. After your first login “View Resource” will take you directly to each topic.
