Career Core by Kaplan: Career Awareness (Topic 2)

Recommended for students seeking to examine the careers of others in their lives, and to explore their own potential career path(s).

In this topic, you’ll examine the career paths of those around you to understand how people turn their interests, skills, and/or education into careers. Through looking at how others have come to develop their careers, you will learn how to shape your own career path and start creating an awareness of yourself as a career professional.

If you have not logged on to Kaplan Career Core yet, your first log in (using your university netid and password) will take you to the home page to set up your account. Then select “Kaplan Career Core” from the dashboard, select “Curriculum Outline,” and scroll down to Start With You/Topic 2. After your first login “View Resource” will take you directly to each topic.
