Career Core by Kaplan: Career Action Plan – Next Steps (Topic 10)

Recommended for students who want to build upon their foundational Career Action Plan, learn about SMART goals, and identify exactly how they plan to build skills and gain experience.

You might have worked on a written plan for career exploration before, but you have also just added several new tools to your planning toolbox. In this topic, you’ll have a chance to formalize your career action plan, using a step-by-step approach to design goals and measure your progress. You’ll also have the opportunity to factor in your work experience—including internships, part-time work, and volunteering—as part of your plan.

If you have not logged on to Kaplan Career Core yet, your first log in (using your university netid and password) will take you to the home page to set up your account. Then select “Kaplan Career Core” from the dashboard, select “Curriculum Outline,” and scroll down to Connect with Your Future Work/Topic 10.
