Reception Office Aide Job Description
The SALT Center has an opening for an Office Aide starting Summer/Fall 2023, and is looking for a reliable, eager student to help keep the daily reception of SALT students running smoothly. As a SALT Center Office Aide, your main duties will include:
• Greeting all incoming students and visitors with quality customer service.
• Checking students in for their appointments with specialists and tutors.
• Communicating well with staff and other student employees, both in person and virtually.
• Acting as coverage for the front desk, when necessary, which includes answering the phone and directing the calls.
Students may work up to 25 hours/week during the semester and 35 hours/week during the summer.
Scheduling is flexible in order to work around students’ course schedule. Once made, schedules are fixed for the entire semester, with changes/coverage only when necessary.
Note: This position requires a minimum enrollment of 6 units at the University of Arizona. Applicants must be in good academic standing, with a GPA of at least 2.0.
Pay Rate: $13.85/hr. through June 30th, $15.00/hr. after July 1st
