Join the PAD team at the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship. The Production and Design Lab helps students bring their business ideas to market by developing physical and application-based prototypes, web presence, visual content as well as social media and print marketing for student and community-based startups. This cross-functional team strives to be a center of excellence for technology deployed in a startup environment, facilitating the launch and acceleration of small businesses.
The Project Manager role has the following core responsibilities, in addition to an opportunity to learn from other functional area leads:
Areas of Responsibility
- Lead the planning and execution of projects by identifying and delegating tasks throughout the PAD team
- Oversee the PAD team and ensure they have the resources and support they need to accomplish tasks
- Act as a point of contact for the PAD team and facilitate communication both within the team and with external partners in the McGuire Center
- Attend weekly meetings to discuss project progress and contribute ideas for upcoming projects
- Take detailed notes during meetings to ensure accurate documentation of decisions and actions
