Arizona Public Media is looking to hire a student digital media and content associate to assist with television, radio, podcast and vodcast production and distribution over-the-air and online.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various aspects of production
  • Communicate with hosts and guest in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist with postproduction of assigned tasks
  • Post on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube Shorts
  • Assist the producers and social media editor with brainstorming campaigns
  • Research relevant organizations and content with the ability to generate traffic
  • Monitor postings to ensue brand message is conveyed
  • Edit down existing videos to create clips for social media
  • Additional duties may be assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of podcasting, vodcasting, including prior experience with marketing or social media
  • Creative mindset
  • Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
  • Actively listens and effectively conveys information
  • Exhibits good interpersonal skills
  • Journalism or Marketing background

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

  • AP Style Writing
  • Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Non-linear editing
  • Social media knowledge
