Arizona International is seeking a Graphic Design Student Assistant who is enthusiastic about the opportunity to get significant professional work experience during their college career.

If selected, you will join the International Education team in designing and coordinating the development of marketing pieces for microcampus initiatives. The Graphic Design Student Assistant will also assist with daily office work and events as needed.

The primary duty of this job is to assist the marketing and communications manager.

This includes:

  • Design web and print marketing materials
  • Assist content creation (photography/videography)
  • Assist with social media scheduling
  • Collect, organize, and disseminate documents and materials from international microcampus students
  • And more!

Qualified applicants will have the following attributes:

  • Excellent eye for design and social media
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premier)
  • Familiarity with Canva
  • Knowledge of social media channels
  • A portfolio showing examples of print and web design/illustration
  • Open to feedback
  • Willingness to learn
  • Professionalism
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Integrity, punctuality, and dependability

Eligibility requirements:

  • Enrolled U of A student
  • Must have at least 1 full school year remaining in their degree program
  • Must be able to work at least 10 hour/week during the fall/spring semester.

Preferred applicant will have the following:

  • Experience in marketing or in an office environment
  • Second language fluency
  • Ability to work 10 hr/week during a significant portion of the summer session
  • Ability to work approximately 10-15 hr/week during the fall/spring semester
  • Preference given to current sophomores
