Career Champions provides the opportunity for university faculty, staff and academic advisers to better understand the career development resources and support available on-campus and through SECD.

Career conversations happen everywhere! Faculty, staff and academic advisers are invited to join a campus-wide network of people helping students achieve career success. The Career Champions program strives to:

  • Maximize access to career development support for all students to enhance career outcomes and success.
  • Enable and empower all faculty & staff to provide career development programming and services to students.
  • Integrate resources and programs into classroom and academic experiences for students.
  • Identify potential areas for collaboration, partnership, and integration within other campus units.

“Thank you for the training! I now have a bigger toolbox to help encourage and guide students with career conversations. I feel supported knowing I can reach out anytime to SECD for help.”
