If you're interested in the Health and Biosciences career cluster, you probably enjoy studying areas related to biology, chemistry, and medicine. You're interested in understanding issues related to the sciences, as well as wellness issues related to those scientific fields.
You might work in an office, hospital, non-profit or a government agency, nursing home, spa, hotel or school.
Before you work in the Health or Biosciences field, you might first:
- Volunteer at a hospital or hospice
- Work as a medical coder
- Complete CDC Training
- Complete EMT Training
- Complete a public health internship
- Attend graduate, medical, nursing or pharmacy school
