Christine Cruzvergara, Vice President Higher Education & Student Success at Handshake hosted by Abra McAndrew, Assistant Vice President Access, Engagement and Opportunity Join Abra McAndrew and Christine Cruzvergara, VP of University Partnerships with Handshake for a conversation about Partnerships with Purpose. We'll discuss shifts in the college talent ecosystem, her work to label and forecast trends in the field, and how COVID-19 and anti-racism movements accelerate or inhibit those trends. We'll touch on how universities, employers and the Handshake platform we're using can work with common purpose and commitment to mutual success to produce more equitable outcomes for Arizona graduates. |

This presentation outlines how the Sprint concept was applied to the creation of a professional development program for graduate students. The presentation includes information on the program’s current reach and diverse learning outcomes, as well as expanding reputation and growing engagement. |

Partnerships/COVID-19 | How do you create and sustain a cycle of leadership? Every Fall, eighty students from the UA Eller College of Management spend a day guiding the children at Prince Elementary to explore their career futures. Junior Achievement shares how we built this partnership, engaging student and business partner volunteers, to change the future for over 3,000 Tucson kids. We explore how this partnership evolved and how we are adapting it to a post COVID-19 world. |
