The Impact of Internships
All Wildcats are encouraged to create an internship plan and pursue at least one paid internship or research experience during their time at the University of Arizona.

A paid internship is one of the best ways to build career-readiness skills and connect with employers while still in college. If you’re planning to pursue an internship now or in the future, there are small steps you can take to make sure you’re ready when the time is right.
The Big 7: Your seven-step internship readiness checklist.
By completing all seven steps before you apply, you’ll have done everything possible to become a strong candidate. You’ll have an online profile, skill-building experiences, a strong resume, a polished self-introduction and confidence in your interviewing skills and search strategy.
“My internship helped me adapt to the professional world, something classes don’t always prepare you for.”
